Like most bloggers I can’t resist a good online shop, I usually go a bit crazy when there are sales on, and either tend to get loads of cheap clothes or buy only a few key items that are slightly more on the expensive side. When it comes to designer pieces, I always make sure that if I buy something, it’s what I’ve been wanting for ages, whether it’s a flashy bag or some boujee shoes. I love coming across websites that sell designer brands, and sometimes I torture myself by coming up with a mental wishlist of all the things I would buy if I had the money to! I usually do this for a single designer brand, for instance the other day I fell in love with the Soho Leather Disco Bag by Gucci, and ended up thinking up a list of all the Gucci pieces I’d love to snatch and add to my designer collection one day (a girl can wish!)
So I was doing some online shopping yesterday and came across the website ‘ssense.com’, and they sell loooaaads of designer brands. I then had a moment where I thought, right it’s time for finding another way to torment myself by compiling a list of pieces I can’t and shouldn’t buy. My attention immediately fell on the Yves Saint Laurent collection they had on the site, and I started to pick out all the items I would kill to add to my wardrobe…
I found all of the following pieces from the Yves Saint Laurent FW2017 collection on their website.
I’ve been recently pining after another designer bag, as I feel like my collection is looking pretty sad at the moment. I already own a YSL black and gold clutch, but I’ve been after something a bit more colourful, so when I spotted this Red Soft Envelope Monogram bag I knew it needed to make the list!
It’s not often that I find many designer items of clothing I really love, unless I happen to be out and try something on in store that I end up falling for. However I saw this YSL Black Denim Heart and Lightning Jacket, which has a bleached denim faded look to it and a really cool embroidered heart on the back. It reminds me of a similar style jacket I have from daisy street that I don’t give enough love to, so I think this deserves to be on the list!
Another YSL item that needed to be added to my list is this pair of Pink Court Classic SL/06 sneakers. I love the mom and boyfriend jeans trend at the moment and think these minimal style trainers would go perfectly with a light blue denim pair and a white graphic tee.
If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I definitely own too many pairs of shoes! I own a few pairs of chunky boots but as soon as I saw these YSL Black Suede Lou Lou boots I instantly knew they needed to go on the list. They’d be perfect to go to a fancy event in or just wear with some black culottes and a t-shirt for a more casual day to day look.
Finally the last item that I thought deserved to go on my Yves Saint Laurent wishlist are these retro Red SL 181 Lou Lou sunglasses. I really like the colour, (seeing as red is basically all I wear at the moment!), and I’ve never owned a set of cat eye or heart shaped sunnies like them so would love to get my hands on a pair.
That’s all for my YSL wishlist, let me know what your favourites are and if there are any designer brands you love!
