An over-the-knee boot is officially a staple for your fall and winter wardrobes. Stuart Weitzman’s are literally my favorites – I own them in multiple colors and styles. They’re an investment piece for sure, but I still have my first pair I bought 3 years ago and they are in perfect condition (make sure to waterproof your boots so they last longer.)

I just added this Tieland boot and love the stacked block heel – it’s one of the big trends this season and the perfect middle ground between the high-heeled over-the-knee boot and the flat boots.

Over Denim: One of the fail-safe ways to pull off your over-the-knee boots is to pair them over your denim. Dress down your flat boots by adding a cozy oversized sweater for a perfect fall look  or you can add a heel for something a little more dramatic.

With Shorter Hems: There’s nothing better than a good sweater dress or pretty suede skirt for fall. With over-the-knee boots, you don’t have to choose between tights or pretending your bare legs aren’t freezing – they are actually really warm and look so fresh with shorter hems.
