In the United States, roughly 1 out of every 8 infants is born prematurely

A photo series by Red Méthot, a Canadian photographer and father of two children born prematurely, aims to highlight how these babies grow and develop.

The series is entitled, "Les Prémas" and features both children and adults who were born early holding photographs of themselves as infants.
