I can’t believe that 2018 is just a few short days away. Where has this year gone?! I’m always in denial when the holiday ends so I love this time between Christmas and New Years when it’s like an unspoken understanding that the last thing on anyone’s mind is working or being productive. That’s what January 1st is for, right? haha. I always look forward to the New Year’s Eve festivities, especially for dressing up! Step out of your typical day and go crazy with fun metallics and textures, or just try something new. For a casual, festive look you can’t go wrong with a fun top. I’m obsessed with this metallic bodysuit (similar here), and it’s even prettier in person. There are so many great designer pieces up to 60% off right now at Saks (including these boots! I love when designer pieces go on sale!!) Since it’s a statement top you can keep the rest of your look simple, with a classic pump or pretty boot – also looove these mules for a more casual event.
I also got this two piece suit (on sale) as an option for a NYE look – I love the pretty brocade texture! It’s the perfect look to take from the office to dinner/drinks with colleagues afterwards – you can just switch out a button down for a pretty satin cami or, for even more of a night time look, just button it up to make it work as a stand-alone top.
I also found this jumpsuit on the Saks sale and had to try it. I loved the one shoulder silhouette and the metallic shimmer on the top for more detail.
