Donald Trump takes his fight against Scottish wind turbines to UK supreme court

LONDON — Donald Trump is on the rampage, and this time it's on British shores.
The billionaire property developer, who's currently frontrunner in the Republican presidential contest, is taking his fight against wind farms near his Aberdeenshire golf resort to the UK's supreme court.
The Scottish government granted permission for 11 wind turbines in 2013, which Trump says will constitute a "monstrous" blight on the landscape. The turbines are mooted to be built some two miles from the golf course.
Trump started his challenge over two years ago. He accused Scotland's first minister at the time, Alex Salmond, of bias toward the project. However, the government declared that its decision-making process has been vindicated by his unsuccessful attempts to derail the project.
