A couple of weeks ago I went down to Kensington Roof Gardens to celebrate the Women’s Tennis Association pre-Wimbledon launch party as a guest ofHäagen-Dazs, as this year they’re returning as a partner of the LTA, the WTA and as the official ice cream of the Wimbledon Championships. I was pretty excited to see that they’ve released a limited edition ice cream in collaboration with Swedish fashion label Bjorn Borg, and when I got invited to work with them and to visit the event in London I was eager to try it!
In a true celebration of tennis, Häagen-Dazs has partnered with the sports fashion label, Björn Borg, to create a bespoke limited edition pack for the new Strawberries and Cream stick bar. The ice cream is made with handpicked strawberries and the signature luxury Häagen-Dazs ice cream, covered in Belgian chocolate. I was excited to see the design for the first time, as takes inspiration from the Bjorn Borg’s tennis legacy and Scandinavian design, as well as the heritage of the Häagen-Dazs founder himself, who was influenced by the region.

The event at the gardens was absolutely stunning, and there were a few famous tennis players I recognised from the party, who seemed eager to celebrate before the start of the championships. I loved that there was a strawberry theme with the cocktails to match the new Häagen-Dazs ice cream, and there must have been a lot of preparation for the pre-event as it was very fancy!
In celebration of the new limited edition Häagen-Dazs flavour, I wore my Bershka red jacket and Lost ink dress, and coordinated with a red lip and my River Island slides for a very summery look at the party. I’ve been particularly loving bright reds and yellows this season, and thought red was especially fitting for the occasion.

With the summer of tennis now in full swing I think Haagen-Dazs have picked the perfect time to come out with their strawberries and cream ice cream bars. The ice cream bar I tried at the event was very luxurious, as the chocolate was super rich and the strawberry chunks were sweet and flavoursome. Also I found out that you can actually order the ice cream on Amazon prime now, which offers a service where they deliver it to selected post codes within 2 hours, kinda like a fancier version of an ice cream van! You can also get single serve packs at Wimbledon and in Sainsbury’s until the end of July.
